Students Inducted into Nu Rho Psi Neruoscience Honor Society

Saint Francis University held the inaugural induction ceremony for the recently established chapter of Nu Rho Psi, the national Neuroscience honor society. Nu Rho Psi is the only nationally-recognized honor society in the area of brain research. The inducted students and faculty were invited to become members based on their interest and commitment to the interdisciplinary study of Neuroscience. The students were nominated based on their high scholastic achievement and their potential to excel as future neuroscientists.

Thirty-one Saint Francis University students were inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) during an inaugural ceremony held Saturday, December 1st at the DiSepio Institute for Rural Health & Wellness.

Inducted into the 2018 Saint Francis University Honor Society

One hundred fifty-six graduating seniors have been inducted into the 2018 Saint Francis University Honor Society. To earn honor society status, students must maintain a minimum cumulative QPA of 3.5 with no "F" grades on their entire undergraduate transcript.

Saint Francis University students inducted into Delta Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society

More than 100 students from Saint Francis University were inducted into the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society. To achieve induction, students must have completed at least fifty percent of the credit requirements toward their degree, a minimum GPA of 3.7, and Saint Francis University faculty support for candidacy. The following local residents were among the more than 100 students from the University who were inducted into Delta Epsilon Sigma:

Local Students Inducted Into Kappa Mu Epsilon Math Honor Society

Saint Francis University's Pennsylvania Mu Chapter of Kappa Mu Epsilon Mathematics (KME) Honor Society held initiation ceremonies on Thursday, January 31, on the Loretto campus. The evening began with a prayer by chapter member Dr. Pedro MuA-A?o, professor of chemistry and Great Lakes regional director of KME. Dinner was held followed by a talk "Metrics in a Plane," by assistant professor of mathematics and KME member Dr. Brendon LaBuz. Then thirteen new members participated in the initiation ceremony, including:
