SFU proudly announces the eight students selected to serve as 2023 Orientation Directors. These talented students will lead a team of 40 student volunteer Orientation Counselors to provide a first-class onboarding experience when the Class of 2027 joins the Flash Fam in August. At no compensation, these volunteers sacrifice the final weeks of summer to ensure that first-year students have an exceptional transition into University life. 2023 Orientation Directors include: Senior Director: Madison Soellner, Associate Directors: Adyson Miller, Madelyn Marzina, and Sarah Evans Assistant Directors: Daniel O'Hara, Ellen Kennedy, Alyson Zell, Cierra Denny

These volunteers sacrifice the final weeks of summer, at no compensation, in order to ensure that first-year students have an exceptional transition into University life.

The Center for Student Engagement at Saint Francis University has chosen the team of students who will lead the way for the Class of 2025 when they arrive on campus Thursday, August 12, 2021. Orientation Counselors play a pivotal role in providing a first-class experience for our new students and their families as they officially become part of our FlashFam. They are the first student organization that our incoming students are exposed to when they arrive on campus for move-in day. They set the example for what our incoming students can expect their experience to be like as a part of our community.

Throughout the first-year orientation program, the Orientation Directors are our student leaders who coordinate 40 other student volunteer Orientation Counselors in order to support the mission of our institution and provide a first-class experience for their new classmates.

The Center for Student Engagement at Saint Francis University has chosen the outstanding team of students who will lead the way for the Class of 2024 as they arrive to campus on Thursday, August 13, 2020. Orientation Counselors set the tone for what it means to be a student on our campus with unwavering enthusiasm and indisputable passion for our institution.

On Saturday, December 7th, 2019, students were recognized for receiving National Society of Leadership and Success Advanced Certification. Students receiving Advanced Certification have successfully completed leadership training for induction into the society focusing on defining one's personal statement of purpose, understanding their communication style and the styles of others, holding themselves and others to a higher standard of excellence, and more.

On Saturday, December 7th, 2019, students were recognized for receiving Executive Certification with the National Society of Leadership and Successn which is the highest level of achievement for the national society. Students receiving Executive Certification have successfully completed leadership training for induction into the society focusing on defining one's personal statement of purpose, understanding their communication style and the styles of others, holding themselves and others to a higher standard of excellence, and more.

Members of the National Society of Leadership and Success must engage in special leadership training prior to their induction. This fall, 20 Saint Francis University students were inducted into the society, totaling 80 student members at the university. Only when a student successfully completes four training steps will they become eligible for induction into the society. One of those steps includes the Leadership Training Day workshop that focuses on defining one's personal statement of purpose, understanding their communication style and the styles of others, holding themselves and others to a higher standard of excellence, and more.

Five Saint Francis University students have completed the training program to receive Advanced Ceritifcation through the National Society of Leadership and Success.

Members of the National Society of Leadership and Success must engage in special leadership training prior to their induction. This spring, 26 Saint Francis University students were inducted into the society, totaling 57 members in the 2018-2019 academic year.

Vanessa will follow her heart after graduation and participate in a nine-month mission with the NET Ministries group that she remembered visiting her parish 10 years ago.

Students from Shields School of Business represented Saint Francs University at the ENACTUS World Cup in San Jose, CA, on October 9th - 11th.

Students studying Physical Therapy at Saint Francis University had the opportunity for some hands-on experience as they hosted their annual "Baby Day" on Thursday, September 20th at the Stokes Athletic Center.

Saint Francis University Student Government Association (SGA) awards three (3) $1,000 fellowships to incoming first-year students.
