SFU Launches Online Mindfulness and Wellness Initiative

Loretto, PA (04/02/2020) — Continuing to put the health and wellness of students, faculty and staff above all else, Saint Francis University is happy to announce the launch of the Mindfulness and Wellness Initiative.

Even though students aren't on campus, the Mindfulness and Wellness Initiative aims to create online activities and outlets for students to learn and implement healthy lifestyle behaviors for the mind, body, and spirit.

The initiative is led by the Mindfulness Task Force, which is a multi-disciplinary group consisting of representatives from the SFU Student Government Association, Residence Life, Counseling Center, DiSepio Institute for Rural Health and Wellness, Campus Ministry, Fine Arts, and Athletics.

Some examples include online holistic wellness workshops and meditation sessions, virtual painting and music lessons and streaming prayer and praise events throughout the week.

The SFU Mindfulness Wellness Initiative has opened pages on Instagram and Facebook (@sfumindful).

Please follow and like to show your support, better yet, visit to see what great activities you can try to become more spiritually, mentally and physically healthy.
