Saint Francis University Invites Prospective Students to Nursing Reception at Curry Innovation Center
Loretto, PA (04/08/2026) — Saint Francis University will host a special Nursing Reception for prospective students on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Curry Innovation Center in Altoona, Pa., offering an inside look at one of the region's leading undergraduate nursing programs.
The event is designed for high school students and their families who are exploring a future in nursing and considering Saint Francis University as their academic home.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with current students, faculty, and academic leaders, while gaining insight into the University's hands-on, patient-centered approach to nursing education. The evening will also highlight the program's strong clinical partnerships and career outcomes.
"Saint Francis University's nursing program is rooted in a commitment to academic excellence, compassionate care, and real-world experience," said Dr. Kerri Golden, Dean of the School of Health Sciences and Education. "This reception gives prospective students the opportunity to engage with our faculty and students, explore our clinical partnerships, and see how we prepare graduates to become confident, skilled, and compassionate nurses."
