Saint Francis launches customized MBA offerings

Loretto, PA (09/11/2020) — The Shields School of Business at Saint Francis University announced several new program options for Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees. The programs are designed specifically for working adult and full-time graduate students.

Originally the MBA Program was designed for the Generalist Manager, however with MBA specializations in-demand, the program recently redesigned its offerings to give more emphasis to program customization. Students still complete the advanced management core curriculum that graduate students and employers expect in a MBA program.

Former concentrations or specialty areas still offered include Accounting, Finance, Health Care Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing. Newly launched speciality concentrations are now available in Information Systems & Project Management, Leadership and Ethical Management, and Sports Management. The concentrations enable graduate students to focus their studies more specifically on key career areas that they want to build knowledge and competencies around.

The new program enhancements place Saint Francis University in stride with the current demand from employers seeking graduates with advanced degrees. In fact, according to the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) Corporate Recruiters Survey, MBA hiring projections remain strong with substantial salary premiums. For those students still desiring the traditional Generalist MBA program, the option is still available.

Saint Francis University offers six module starts per year.
