Registration now open for Saint Francis University's STEAM Summer Academies
The academies are one-week long immersive programs in engineering, aviation, computer science, mathematics, pre-medicine, health sciences, biology and chemistry for high school students entering grades 11 and 12 in Fall 2020.
Loretto, PA (01/24/2020) — Registration is now open for Saint Francis University's STEAM Summer Academies. The academies are one-week long immersive programs in engineering, aviation, computer science, mathematics, pre-medicine, health sciences, biology and chemistry for high school students entering grades 11 and 12 in Fall 2020.
Talented high school students selected for an academy will have the opportunity to earn two transferable college credits from Saint Francis University while working in teams to complete real world projects, and present their results in this unique pre-college experience.
The 2020 STEAM Summer Academy programs include:
Solving Crimes with Digital Forensics - June 27 - July 2, 2020
Air Francis - June 27 - July 2, 2020
Exciting Chemistry - June 27 - July 2, 2020
Science of Exercise Physiology - July 5 - July 10, 2020
Environmental Engineering Design - July 5 - July 10, 2020
Find Your Voice - July 5 - July 10, 2020
Petroleum and Chemical Engineering - July 12 - July 17, 2020
Pre-Medicine - July 12 - July 17, 2020
Psychology and Neuroscience - July 12 - July 17, 2020
The participation cost for each academy is $474 and includes room and board and all course materials for the week. Discounts are available for eligible students, including a $25 discount for early registration, which ends on March 1. The final registration deadline is May 10.
