About Unified Bocce Ball - Unified Bocce Ball is a program offered and funded through the Special Olympics of PA. The event brings together co-ed teams of students from grades 9-12. What makes this program extraordinary is its equal composition of Special Olympics-eligible students and those without intellectual disabilities. The mission and goals of Special Olympics resonate deeply with SFU and REAL and the ethos of Penn Cambria. Mr. William Marshall, Superintendant of Penn Cambria School District, is spearheading the event. Bill Marshall serves on the executive board of REAL and is an adjunct faculty member in the Graduate Education program at SFU.

About REAL - The Rural Education Alliance for Leadership (REAL) Institute is designed to help local communities and educational agencies come together in efforts to support the needs of rural schools. More information about the REAL Institute may be found at francis.edu/REAL.
